DIRECTIONS Map link to NASA Ames' main gate The entrance to NASA Ames and CONTACT 2003 is on Moffett Blvd, a few miles north of highway 237 off highway 101 near Mountain View, California. From 101, take the Moffett Field exit heading east. This will take you straight to the Ames gate in ¼ mile. Map link to NASA Ames' grounds At the gate, show your drivers license** and say that you are going to the "Contact Ames Symposium" in the MTCC building (also called building 3). Enter through the gates and stay as straight as you can go. Just after "McCord Avenue" there is a parking lot on the left and right. Park in either lot. The conference building, MTCC, is on the left. If the road ends you have gone 1 block too far. |
** Since the conference is being held at NASA Ames, everyone attending will need to be able to show photo identification at the gate. Photo ID must be government issued. For adults (US or Canadian residents), showing a driver’s license is sufficient. If one is under 17 years old, there is no badging done. Otherwise, passport or green card will be needed. Non-US and Non-Canadian attendees must email: Michael.H.Sims@nasa.gov for explicit instructions. If possible, do so at least 6 weeks prior to Contact. |
