DIRECTIONS

NASA Ames' main gate
The entrance to NASA Ames and CONTACT 2009 is on Moffett Blvd, a few miles north of highway 237 off highway 101 near Mountain View, California. From 101, take the Moffett Field exit heading east. This will take you straight to the Ames gate in less than a quarter mile. For those attending the Conference, but not staying at the NASA Lodge you can proceed directly to Building 943.

NASA Ames Research Center - Long Shot

Once at NASA Ames
The Conference venue is just outside of the Gate in Building 943. Parking is behind the large circular tent structure, (right). If you are staying at the NASA Lodge on base, show your driver's license at the Gate and say that you are going to the "Contact Ames Symposium" in building 943 and that you are staying at the NASA Lodge, (Building 19).

IMPORTANT
Even though the conference will not be held at NASA Ames Research Center proper, everyone attending who is staying on base at the NASA Lodge needs to be able to show photo identification at the gate. Photo ID has to be government issued. A driver's license is sufficient for US and Canadian citizens. Otherwise, passport or green card is needed. If one is under 17 years old, there is no badging done.

NASA Ames Research Center - Close-Up

All Non-US and Non-Canadian citizens who plan on attending the Contact Conference and are staying at the NASA Lodge, (right), must contact and/or at least 6 weeks in advance, prior to February 13, 2009 for explicit instructions for visitor badges to the NASA Ames Research Center.
