Sue Stone

In 1991, CONTACT lost a valuable and devoted friend. Sue Stone became a quintessential part of CONTACT during its beginnings; and over the years her long hours and hard work, as original staff member, corporate secretary and conference organizer, were fully and freely given, far beyond the call of duty. She saved us more than once.

Sue gave her whole heart to everyone and everything she cared about. Her capacity for helping others seemed without end. For those many people who were graced with her warm spirit and loving nature, our home world will not be the same. We cannot forget her; but she would want us to remember her not in the sadness of our own loss but in the happiness she brought us in her life.

For these reasons, both personal and professional, it was to Sue Stone that Contact VII (1992) was respectfully, gratefully and lovingly dedicated.
