Checks should be made out to CONTACT 2010. If your check has your contact information printed on it, there is no need to duplicate that elsewhere.

*Email addresses are useful for disseminating information about the conference, schedule changes if any, and so forth, but are not required. Contact registration information is not sold or given to third parties except as required to process financial instruments.

This year we will be returning to the NASA Ames Conference Center (NACC), Building 3. The NASA Exchange Lodge has lodging available on the base a few easy blocks from the Building 943. We hope you will enjoy the opportunity to have a simple and economical room this close to the events and activities.

A block of $55 rooms with TV and phone has been reserved for CONTACT attendees. Another building has $45 rooms available with a choice of a double bed or two singles with a bathroom in the room. These prices are for one person. Each additional person is $5. This block has been extend through March 12, 2010, so register as soon as possible.

Because we anticipate Ames to be more crowded this year, we urge you to make your room reservation NOW, as there are limited accommodations on the base. For your convenience, here is a list of additional lodging within 2 miles of the conference. CONTACT has no special arrangements with any of these facilities.

IMPORTANT: Everyone planning on staying at the NASA Exchange Lodge on base, will need to show photo identification at the gate. A driver's license is sufficient for US citizens. Otherwise, passport, green card or other government-issued photo ID is needed. Attendees under the age of 17 are not required to have a badge.

All Non-US citizens who plan on attending the Contact Conference and staying on base at NASA Exchange Lodge must contact Chris McKay (cmckay@mail.arc.nasa.gov) prior to March 3, 2010 for explicit instructions for visitor badges to the NASA Ames Research Center.
