A week-long view compressed to several minutes as a rhododendron bud explodes. Consistant lighting was achieved with the use of the "Rhoddie Box" a 15" plexiglass cube, lined with mylar and fitted with twin under-counter fluorescent lights, (image below). The plastic tupperware container protects the camera from the elements.
